In 2019, Tadano acquired the Demag product line from Terex Corp. and formed a subsidiary. the Demag Tadano Group.
In 2021, Tadano unified the brand and no longer uses the Demag brand name. Previous Demag model All Terrain Crane and Crawlers are now designated simply as a Tadano.
For All Terrains, AC is combined with a figure for the number of axles, capacity in metric tons, and a version number. For the lattice boom crawler cranes the formatting is CC + legacy series + lift capacity + version.
For example, the Demag AC 450-7 is now branded as a Tadano AC 7.450-1 and Demag CC 3800-1 is now branded as a Tadano CC 38.650-1.
